The Watts T388002 1” Bronze Anti-Siphon Pressure Vacuum Breaker helps prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. It consists of bronze body construction, silicone rubber check valve disc, plastic check valve seat, stainless steel springs, a bonnet with silicone rubber O-ring seal, a lightweight plastic disc float, tee handle shutoffs, and test cocks for winterization draining. The resilient sealing float o-ring and seal check disc are silicone rubber which is resistant to heat, shock and chemical attack. It is ideal in health hazard continuous pressure applications such as irrigation systems and industrial process water systems where the water enters the equipment at or below its flood rim. The maximum pressure is 150 psi (10.3 bar) and the minimum pressure is 15 psi (55kPa). This valve is for use in health hazard cross connections and continuous pressure applications.This series features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor can trigger the alert system sending notification of flood detection to facility personnel. Connection kits are available for BMS and cellular communication.

• DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: This preventer is constructed with a highly durable bronze body with easy internal access for easy maintenance, ensuring long-lasting performance. It has a minimum operating pressure of 15 psi (55 kPa) and a maximum pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar). It is ideal for use in health hazard continuous pressure applications, such as irrigation systems and industrial process water systems where the water enters the equipment at or below the flood rim.
• FREEZE SENSOR: Includes a freeze sensor compatible with SentryPlus Alert technology, signaling facility personnel when temperatures near and reach freezing point. An optional freeze sensor connection kit is available to activate a monitoring system for low and freezing temperatures.
